This proposal aims to reduce the yearly inflation of the collator system from 5.0% to 4.5%.
The first attempt to reduce the yearly inflation of the collator system to 1.5% was rejected by the token holders. We understand that this was quite a drastic reduction and might be of inappropriate scale as a single operation. Nevertheless a reduction is necessary to maintain a healthy inflation while being capable of shifting inflation to other systems within the Zeitgeist protocol, such as the Court system which is about to be launched.
